Thanksgiving 2001, Connecticut

Chris and I flew back east last week for Thanksgiving.  Here are some video clips and photos.

This is Shannon and Casey goofing around in my sister Tracey's front yard.

Video Clips - Click on the thumbnail images below, or on the links to the right of the image to view the video clip.  If you have not viewed clips on my site before, go here and follow the instructions.

Here we meet Shannon and Casey.  It's Thanksgiving morning and Aunt Jackie is about to take them outside to play in the yard.   Sorry - I can't rotate video clips, so this one is sideways.
Aunt Jackie is trying to get Shannon and Casey to pose for a photo.  I think we can see Grandpa Marino (ie, Dad) in the background setting up the Christmas lights.  Oh, and Casper gets into the act here too.
Oh Boy, Chris brought his magic trick, to entertain the girls.  Yeah, the same one he used to use to entertain other girls...slightly older girls in places like the Gold Cane and Bit-O-Honey Saloon.  Apparently Marinos of all ages appreciate this one!
Shannon is telling us about her kindergarten teacher, who is pregnant and will be leaving school after Christmas "to get her baby out." (unfortunately the tape runs out at end, cuts her off)
Excitement is high, pizza has arrived.  Here Casey corrects her Dad, letting him know it's "Chris, not "Christopher."

More goofing around.  On the right are the girls at the lighting ceremony - you can see the red white and blue tree they added this year for a dose of patriotism.  They had a children's choir and sang carols as well as the National Anthem, it was quite nice (if not cold!).

Grandpa putting up some lights.

Awww, isn't that the cutest couple, of turkeys!?  They're looking so happy, all snug and toasty right out of the oven!

We protested the posed photo.  The one on the right is more like it.  Below is Aunt Jackie with the girls all ready for bed.
